
Wayne Vandenburg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Wayne Vandenburg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, helped establish the family’s real estate investment and management platform in 1983. He has spoken at real estate conferences worldwide and worked with institutions across the U.S., Europe, the U.K., the Middle East, UAE, and Persian Gulf. Over his career, he has served on the Board of Directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the ULI’s Multifamily Blue & Green Councils, as well as the Real Estate Round Table, Pension Real Estate Association, and Mortgage Bankers Association.
From 2000–2007, he founded Coldwell Banker Europe as the master franchisor for residential and CRE services, launching franchise operations in nine European countries and building a US-styled multifamily asset management firm. His company additionally invested in DB Immobilien in Germany, a residential and commercial real estate brokerage group with nine-offices across Germany and acquired a major property and facility management firm in Central Europe with operations in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. This Prague-based company is the leading HOA property and facility manager for upscale residential developments and additionally provides a myriad of services to residential developers before and during the sale of individual apartment units to the local consumers.
A Chicago native and University of New Mexico graduate where he competed in intercollegiate athletics, Vandenburg previously coached Track & Field and Cross Country at UTEP and UNM, earning multiple Hall of Fame honors. He’s held executive and consulting roles in pro sports, including the International Volleyball Association, El Paso Diablos AA Baseball Club, NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, International Track Association and most recently with the USA Track & Field Foundation where he is now Board of Directors Emeritus.
