Wayne Vandenburg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Wayne Vandenburg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, helped establish the family’s real estate investment and management platform in 1983. He has spoken at real estate conferences worldwide and worked with institutions across the U.S., Europe, the U.K., the Middle East, UAE, and Persian Gulf. He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council and is a member of ULI’s Multifamily Blue & Green Councils, the Real Estate Round Table, Pension Real Estate Association, and Mortgage Bankers Association.

 

From 2000–2007, he founded Coldwell Banker Europe as master franchisor for residential and CRE services, launching franchise operations in nine European countries and building a U.S.-style multifamily asset management firm. His company also invested in DB Immobilien in Germany and acquired a major property and facility management firm based in Prague, with operations in Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. He currently oversees this Prague-based company, the leading HOA property manager for upscale developments.

 

A Chicago native and University of New Mexico graduate, Vandenburg previously coached Track & Field and Cross Country at UTEP and UNM, earning multiple Hall of Fame honors. He’s held executive and consulting roles in pro sports, including with the International Volleyball Association, El Paso Diablos baseball team, NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and International Track Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the USA Track & Field Foundation.
